When you upgrade
InfraWorks 360, you must also upgrade your models. An alert on the model prompts you to upgrade when necessary.
To upgrade your team
- As a Publisher or Admin user, do the following:
- Upgrade your version of
InfraWorks 360.
- Open the model and choose "Upgrade" when prompted.
We upgrade the cloud model for
all group members and cache the model locally to optimize performance.
Note: If you had a previously connected local model with unsynced changes, we merge your changes with the cloud version and move the local model to the new model cache. You can manage the cache location in
Application Options.
- All collaborators upgrade
InfraWorks 360.
- All collaborators resume working on the model in the cloud.
Note: Because cloud upgrade affects the whole team, you must be an Admin or Publisher. If you are an Author or a Reader of a model that has not been upgraded, and you have installed a new version of InfraWorks 360, ask an Admin or Publisher to upgrade the model.
To upgrade yourself and not your team
If you want to upgrade a model and experiment with new features before upgrading your team, you can create a copy of the model so your team can continue collaborating on the original.

InfraWorks 360, sync your model changes to the cloud.
