The final exercise in this tutorial shows you how to add road decorations, in this case street lights, on both sides of the component road.
Go to the bookmark Road Decorations.
Open the Sun & Sky panel and change the time to about 16:00 hours.
This gives you a clearer view of the model.
Close the Sun & Sky panel.
Select the road.
Right-click and then select Insert Decorations.
In the Catalog, type pole to filter the results.
You should see just six items.
Select 3D Model > Bridge Components > Lightpole.
Place the orange insertion marker on the right side of the road and click.
The row of lights is added. They are facing the wrong way. You can correct that in a minute.
Repeat steps 4-8 to add lights to the left side of the road.
Make sure you place the insertion marker on the outside of the bus lane, not on an inside lane.
Zoom in and rotate to get a closer view.
On the asset card, change Spacing to 20m.
This updates the lights on the left, as they were the last ones you selected. Now you need to edit the lights on the right side of the road.
Click one of the lights on the right.
The asset card shows details for this row of lights.
On the asset card, change Spacing to 20m.
Click one of the lights again if necessary to re-display the asset card.
Change the Rotation to 180.
The lights face the right way and your road decorations are complete.
OPTIONAL: place a row of trees along the central median, if you can remember how to do this from a previous tutorial. HINT: Sketching tools under the red InfraWorks icon.
