A common requirement is to add a lane assembly to a section of road and then edit the style. In this exercise, you will use this method to create a bus turnout.
Select the road and make sure you are in edit mode.
Right-click the road and select Insert Components.
From the component catalog, select Component > Assembly > Lane.
Close the catalog and the asset card.
Move the orange insertion marker to the start point of the bus lane.
Make sure that the marker is on the far side of the existing slow lane.
Click to start placing the lane.
Zoom in and pan to get a closer view of the work area.
Drag the grip to the end point.
Right-click and then select Finish Insert.
On the asset card, click Material to change the selection.
In the Select Material Style dialog, select Material/City Block from the drop-down list.
Select Light Brown Interlocking Tile and then click OK.
Click away from the road to deselect the lane and again to deselect the road.
Zoom and rotate the view to see the completed bus lane.
