There are two kinds of optimization that you can run on a design road: corridor, or horizontal optimization, and profile, or vertical optimization. Corridor optimization is a preview at the time of publishing this tutorial. That means that you can try it out for free. The first two exercises show you how to set up and run a corridor optimization that will bypass specific areas. Profile optimization is a pay-per-job feature of Autodesk InfraWorks 360. Exercise 3 shows you how to set it up and then provides a sample report for you to view.
