Import pipeline data to add it to the current model. Configure imported pipeline data to specify desired settings such as elevation offsets. Negative elevation offsets place pipelines underground.
-
Follow the general import instructions.
- On the
Data Source Configuration screen, on the
Common tab, map properties from the data source to the following:
- Type: The profile type of the pipeline (Circle, Ellipse, or Rectangle).
- Elevation Offset: Adds an offset (in meters) to every z-coordinate of the geometry (along the z-axis of the whole geometry).
- Elevation Offset From/To: Controls the slope of pipes by specifying elevation offsets for their start and end points separately.
- Size X/Y: The vertical and horizontal size of the pipe cross-section. For a circular pipe, both values are equal.
Note: You can also use an expression to map a property from the data store to one of these attributes. See
Use Expressions.
Note: Drainage Design for
InfraWorks 360 enables subscribers to add drainage networks to design roads, including connectors selected from a 3D components part catalog. See
