Filter feature classes and subsets based on a single property, multiple properties, a location in the model that you specify, or a set of other conditions. Filter expressions can be used to find data, select data, create subsets, and filter properties from the original data store during import. The result of a filter expression must be a Boolean value.
For example, filter tree data by SPECIES type during import and configuration (if the data store has a SPECIES property) by mapping the SPECIES property to a model property (for example, NAME). You can also create subsets, using a filter, after you add data sources to the model.
