To create a panorama view by adding a bookmark

A panorama is a pre-rendered, 3D look-around view, which displays in a model opened in a web browser. If an Admin or Publisher has pre-rendered the panoramas for the model, the web browser view locates each panorama with a marker: .

Creating a panorama view is the same as creating a bookmark.

  1. Set the model's layer visibility settings to the way you want them.
  2. Navigate, zoom and pan, to the desired view within your model; set the important feature in the center of the display.
  3. Click to display the Bookmark gallery (entry list).
  4. Click Add Bookmark.

A thumbnail of the bookmark location appears in the Bookmark gallery, along with its name. Type a new name for this bookmark and hit Enter to finish.

This action creates the panorama view.

Note: This panorama can display in a browser only after (a) you sync the model and (b) an Admin or Publisher for the group sharing the model renders the panoramas from the Web Administrator.

Disabling a Panorama View from its Bookmark Entry

If you create a bookmark for a view that you do not want included as a panorama, you need to disable that bookmark's panorama view.

  1. Hover over the bookmark entry to display its panorama icon.

The panorama icon is a toggle switch. Default setting: (red) render.

  2. Click the icon to disable rendering this panorama; click again to re-enable rendering.
