Maya Installation

Important: Before you install Maya software, verify that your system meets the minimum system requirements and your hardware meets the minimum requirements to run Maya.

About Maya 2016 Extension 2

You can install this product on a computer or network server without removing an installed version of Maya 2016 or Maya 2016 Extension 1. Just be advised that if you need to uninstall and reinstall one of the products, the license type and product activation method may differ between the two versions. For example, the earlier product may require you to enter a serial number and product key, while the newer product may require an Autodesk ID.

Maya Language Support

You can choose to install Maya in any of the following languages:

• English
• Japanese
• Simplified Chinese

Note: As of this release, Autodesk Backburner™, Composite, and MatchMover™ are not included in the Maya product installation. You can download these three products from the Autodesk Exchange Apps for Autodesk Maya Store.
