Tweak Components MiniToolbar

Access:

Ribbon: Presentation tab Create panel Tweak Components
Move
Creates translational tweaks. Clears the selection set of components when you click Apply, so you can continue with a different selection set.
Continuous Move
Creates a sequence of translational tweaks. Retains the selection set of components after you click Apply. You can add multiple tweaks for the same selection set, or slightly change the original selection as you create tweaks.
Rotate
Creates a rotational tweak.
Selection Filter

Component selects either assemblies or parts.

Part restricts selection to parts only.

Locate
Places or moves the triad. Hover over the model to display component grip points, and click a point to place the triad.
Orientation of the Triad

Local orients the triad to respect the coordinate system of the component the triad is attached to.

Align Triad to Geometry rotates the triad to align the coordinates to geometry of the selected component. Available when Local is selected.

World orients the triad to respect the world coordinate system in the presentation view.

Default Trails

Selects a trail option for the currently created tweak.

None cancels creating trails.

All Components creates trails for all selected components.

All Parts creates trails for all selected parts, excludes subassemblies from creating trails.

Single creates a single trail for the entire tweak regardless of the number of moved components. The trail starts from the triad location.

Add
Creates an extra trail for the current tweak. Specify the trail end point on a tweaked component.
Delete
Deletes a trail created for the current tweak.
Full Trail, Trail Segments
Specifies a trail option for the Add or Delete command.
Note: A full trail denotes a complete component path in a presentation view. A trail segment represents a specific translational or rotational tweak.
OK
Saves the current position of components and exits the command.
Apply
Saves the current position of components and continues repositioning.
Cancel
Cancels the last tweak operation, and exits the command.
Undo
Cancels the last tweak operation, and continues the command.
Note: The tweak history and the Undo button are available until you click Apply in the Tweak Components minitoolbar.
Mini Toolbar Options
Specifies position of the mini toolbar and switches fading on or off.
