To add or remove trails
To edit trails, edit the tweak that the trails belong to.
- In the graphic window, select a trail corresponding to the tweak to edit.
If no trail is available, select a tweak in the browser:
- In the Assembly View, expand a component node, and select the tweak to edit.
- In the Tweak View, expand the tweak to edit, and select a component.
- In the Sequence View, expand a Sequence, and select the tweak to edit.
- Right-click, and click Edit.
- To change the default set of trails created for the tweak, select an option from the Default Trails list.
- To add individual trails:
- On the Tweak Component minitoolbar, click
Add, and select Full Trail or Trail Segments. In the graphic window, click points on the tweaked components to add trails.
- To delete individual trails:
- On the Tweak Component minitoolbar, click
Delete. Then select Full Trail or Trail Segments.
- In the graphic window, click trails to delete. Trails that belong to the edited tweak are highlighted.
- Click OK to save the edits and exit the command.
To show or hide existing trails
You can control the visibility of trails in an exploded view.
To add a full trail to a tweaked component
Add a trail to an existing tweak to clarify relationships between components. For example, add trails between corresponding features on the components.
- Select the component in the Assembly or Sequence View of the browser, or in the graphics window.
- Right-click, and select Add Trail from the menu.
- Click in the graphics window to set the start point of the trail.
- Right-click and select Done to place the trail.
