Previously, for 3D injection compression models, the compression stroke was stopped if a sufficient number of surface elements were frozen.
With this release, the option Frozen check for compression control is available on the Part Surface Properties tab of the Compression element (3D) dialog.
With this option selected, only the selected elements are included in the frozen check. This is the same implementation that is used for Midplane injection compression analyses.
Note:
- Frozen check only applies to compression elements. Channel elements are not considered
- This option is on by default.
- Studies from previous releases function as if all compression elements are selected. Uncheck this option, select the elements to be excluded from the check, re-check the option, and re-run the analysis.
