Set Up and Run the Analysis

1. In the tree view, right-click on Analysis 1 and select Edit.
2. Make sure that SPC checkbox is selected under Nodal Output Control.

   

3. Click OK.

   SPC (Single Point Constraint) refers to the Autodesk Nastran terminology of a constraint. Since Autodesk Nastran In-CAD is all geometry based, all the nodes on a surface with an applied constraint are considered Single Point Constraints. This step is critical for extracting reaction forces due to enforced displacement loads.

4. Click Save to save your work.
5. Right-click on Analysis 1 and select Solve in Nastran.
