Use the Advanced tab to search for specific patterns within properties throughout the entire vault based on any criteria using logical conditional statements.
The search criteria can be combined to create complex search requirements.

Search For Property |
The drop-down list contains the properties associated with the files stored in the current vault. Use it to select a property for which to search. |

Search for Condition |
Use the drop-down list to select a conditional statement for the search. |

Search for Value |
Enter a value for the selected property that corresponds to the condition set for the search. |

You use this feature to create a parameterized search. Clicking this button adds the search criteria to the list with the value 'ask me later' indicating that a user will be prompted for value when the search is initiated. |

Add |
Click this button to include the search in the list of search criteria. If more than one search is added to the criteria list, the search combines the criteria and performs an AND search. |

Replace |
You can replace one search criteria with another. Specify the property, condition, and value for the new criteria. Select the existing criteria to replace, and then click this button. |

Remove |
To eliminate search criteria from the advanced search, select the criteria from the list and then click this button. |
