Customize Application Settings for a Revit Deployment

When creating a Revit deployment, you can specify custom application settings and provide a project template.

These custom files are provided as part of the installation for all users who receive the deployment, thus streamlining the customization process and automating standards across the organization.

The Customize Application Settings options are available on the Create Deployment > Configure <deployment name> page of the Revit installer. See Create a Custom Revit Deployment.

Note: If you plan to use a custom Revit.ini file or a shared project template for the deployment, create and prepare that file before starting the deployment creation. Place the file in a location that can be accessed from the computer where you are creating the deployment. See Configure User Disciplines and Settings for Revit Deployments.
