In this tutorial, we step through the meshing of the circuit board shown in the image below. The model was created in the Create Circuit Board CAD Model in Autodesk SimStudio Tools tutorial. If you do not wish to construct the CAD model, the file, Circuit Board.SimStudio, is provided within the tutorial models folder.
The meshed model is used in the subsequent Circuit Board Steady-State Heat Transfer Analysis tutorial. The steady-state temperature results of that tutorial are then used as the starting temperatures is the Circuit Board Transient Heat Transfer Analysis tutorial.
