You need at least one camera in your scene to use the Panorama Exporter.
- Choose Rendering
Panorama Exporter. If you use Enhanced menus, choose Rendering
Tools (Rendering Set)
Panorama Exporter.
- On the
Utilities panel
Panorama Exporter rollout, click Render.
- On the Render Setup dialog, set the rendering conditions, and then click Render.
Tip: For best results, high resolutions might be necessary. We recommend a resolution of 2048x1024 or higher unless you're working on drafts.
3ds Max renders a series of views, which it uses to construct the panorama.

Panorama Exporter creates a 360-degree spherical rendering.
- When the rendering is done, the Panorama Exporter Viewer displays.
Use the Viewer to navigate the panorama, or to export it to a file.
You can also use the Viewer to open previously saved panoramas.
Note: The A360 Cloud renderer provides another way to create a panorama. This feature is independent of the Panorama Exporter utility.
