Create a Bent Beam

See the scheme to create a bent beam in Advance Steel using the Dynamo extension.

In the tree menu on the left, expand the AdvanceSteel tab Beams BentBeam and select ByStartPointEndPoint. This command will create an Advance Steel beam in Dynamo, using a start point and an end point.

Using a similar procedure as for creating a straight beam in Dynamo, use the following scheme to generate a bent beam in Advance Steel, using the Dynamo extension:

Note: Notice that there is now a third point box in the scheme. This point defines the arched axis of the bent beam.
