Enhancements made to AutoCAD Mechanical to support model documentation drawing views.
Model documentation has been significantly enhanced in this release. As such, we now promote Model Documentation over Inventor link. To that end, Inventor link is no longer installed by default.
Similar to dimension styles and leader styles, model documentation uses section view styles and detail view styles to control the appearance of section views and detail views respectively.
You can create section view styles from section view settings of any loaded drafting standard. Similarly you can create detail view styles from the detail view settings of any loaded drafting standard.
Drawing templates have been enhanced to contain section view styles and detail view styles derived from the standard settings of the drafting standard corresponding to the template.
