General Enhancements
You can now attach surface texture symbols to feature control frame symbols.
Drafting Standard Related Enhancements
We have enhanced the surface texture symbol to comply with the 2006 revision of the GB/T 131 drafting standard.

You can also specify surface texture requirements on a top view, using surface indication leaders.
Saving to Older Versions
If you save a drawing to an older version of AutoCAD Mechanical:
- Surface texture symbols that are attached to feature control frames (if the drawing contains any) become detached. The surface texture requirement data however is not lost.
- GB/T 131-2006 surface texture symbols (if the drawing contains any) are converted to block references.
