A set of new subassemblies is included in this release, including subassemblies for benches, curbs, ditches, shoulders, tunnels, and single-track and double-track railways.
BasicBench
The BasicBench subassembly inserts links to create cut or fill catch slopes with repeating benches as needed. You can define a swale width and depth at the benches. The last daylight slope to the target surface may be different than the bench slope.

The BasicBenchTargetElevations subassembly inserts links to create cut or fill catch slopes with repeating benches as needed.
BasicBenchTargetOneElevation
The BasicBenchTargetOneElevation is a simple bench subassembly that inserts links to create cut or fill catch slopes with one bench.
BasicBenchWithOverExcavation
The BasicBenchWithOverExcavation subassembly inserts links to create cut or fill catch slopes with repeating benches as needed.
CurbEmbPipe
The CurbEmbPipe subassembly inserts links for a concrete curb with embedded pipe at the flowline. A terrace may be placed behind the curb and gutter.
CurbOffsetPipe
The CurbOffsetPipe subassembly is used to place a curb and gutter with a pipe behind the curb and gutter. A terrace is also placed behind the curb.
CurbWallRadius
The CurbWallRadius subassembly is used as a standard 6" (0.15 m) / 12" (0.30 m) curb wall with user defined input for multiple widths and for the curb radius.
DitchWithBermInFill
The DitchWithBermInFill subassembly places a ditch with predefined geometry and creates a berm in fill and cut conditions.
EvenSlopeDitch
The EvenSlopeDitch subassembly creates a ditch to add to either the left or the right sides of the assembly.
MultipleBench_Depth
The MultipleBench_Depth subassembly creates cut or fill catch slopes with benches with varying bench slopes, swale widths, and swale depths.
MultipleBenchWithPipes
The MultipleBenchWithPipes subassembly creates cut or fill catch slopes with repeating benches as needed.
PipeTrenchAdjustDiameter
The PipeTrenchAdjustDiameter subassembly with a single pipe in a trench that allows volume calculation of bedding base and granular backfill.
PipeTrenchMultipleLayers
The PipeTrenchMultipleLayers subassembly has a single pipe in a trench and a layer of material encasing the pipe.
PipeTrenchMultipleLayers2
The PipeTrenchMultipleLayers2 subassembly has a single pipe in a trench, a layer of material encasing the pipe, and an additional layer of material above the pipe encasement.
RailDoubleTrack
The RailDoubleTrack subassembly is used to insert the rails, ties, ballast, subballast, soil fill, and subbase for a double-track railroad.
RailPlatform
The RailPlatform subassembly includes common layers for rail platform such as walls, concrete plinth, footway, sand bed, foundation, and so on.
RailSingleTrack
The RailSingleTrack subassembly is used to insert the rails, ties, ballast, and subballast for a single-track railroad.
ShoulderIntersectLeft
The ShoulderIntersectLeft subassembly creates a shoulder extended to a daylight point based on the shoulder slope and subgrade grade. It only operates to the left.
ShoulderIntersectRight
The ShoulderIntersectRight subassembly creates a shoulder extended to a daylight point based on the shoulder slope and subgrade grade. It only operates to the right.
ShoulderParabolicDaylight
The ShoulderParabolicDaylight subassembly provides rounding at the Point of Vertical Intersection (PVI) between the shoulder and daylight links as well as fillet rounding between the daylight link and target surface.
ShoulderRoundedTarget
The ShoulderRoundedTarget subassembly provides rounding of a shoulder.
ShoulderVariesExtensions
The ShoulderVariesExtensions subassembly has a base and subbase that extends past the rest of the pavement layers.
SidewalkSlopesAndBase
The SidewalkSlopesAndBase subassembly creates links for a concrete sidewalk with inside and outside boulevards.
SimpleCutWithLanding
The SimpleCutWithLanding subassembly allows a simple landing/shoulder with a cut option. The subassembly only daylights in a cut situation.
SimpleTunnel
The SimpleTunnel subassembly is for a simple tunnel, or box culvert. It uses the height, width, and material thickness that you input.
SimpleTunnelOpenBottom
The SimpleTunnelOpenBottom subassembly is for a simple tunnel with open bottom. It uses the height, width, and material thickness that you input.
SlopeDitch
The SlopeDitch subassembly creates a ditch with backslope and foreslopes. In cut, it daylights to the existing ground. In fill, a berm is created and then daylights.
ValleyGutter
The ValleyGutter subassembly is a concrete arched valley gutter. You can define width and curvature by selecting from predefined geometries.
ValleyGutterSimple
The ValleyGutterSimple subassembly is a concrete valley gutter with user defined widths, concrete depths, and flow line depth. The width can be modified and the flowline stays at the center.
