Change the default Help Preference setting

To make a locally stored version of MotionBuilder Help available from within the product, you need to change the default Help preference setting.

To change the Help preference setting

1. Start MotionBuilder.
2. Open the Preferences window by selecting Settings > Preferences.
3. In the left pane of the Preferences window, click Help.
4. In the Help Location section, select Local Computer/Network, and either enter the path to the directory where you copied the Help, or click Browse, and then browse to the location.
5. Click OK and exit the Preferences window.

   The MotionBuilder Help is now available from the Help, F1, and context-sensitive help menus.
