Leasing a Job

By default, data in a job is accessible only until that job is set to the Live state. You can make job data available, for example, to SQL Plus, using job leasing.

To make job data available to other applications before it is Live

1. In the Industry Model Explorer, click to start Job Manager.
2. In Job Manager, expand JobsJob States.
3. Right-click the job and click Lease Job.
4. In the Lease Job window, specify the end date of the lease.
