Understanding the Job Workflow

Your Autodesk Infrastructure Map Server Administrator must provide you with a job-enabled industry model and job templates. For more information, see the “Infrastructure Administrator Guide.”

To work with jobs in Infrastructure Application Extension, follow these basic steps:

1. Do one of the following:
   • If the job you want is already available, select a job.
   • If the job you want does not exist, create the job and specify the job perimeter.
2. Make your modifications. If needed, undo some or all modifications for a job
3. Change the job state to Pending.
4. Validate and approve the modifications.
5. Change the job state to Live.
