Orthogonal Calculation Workflow

Sample workflow to calculate orthogonal points:

1. In Infrastructure Application Extension, in the Construction toolbar click Orthogonal Calculation.
2. In the map, select the base element. The line is highlighted in the drawing with the abscissa values at the starting and end point. The construction dialog box opens.
3. In the construction dialog bo x, click for the Azimuth column to interchange the start and end points.
4. To calculate new points, enter the abscissa and ordinate value and click Calculate. The result is highlighted in the drawing.
5. To save the new point in the database, select a feature class and click Save Point.
