Removing unused properties

If you make changes to a meshed model, for example, create a Midplane mesh from a Dual Domain mesh, or change thicknesses of certain elements, the old properties will be orphaned and retained in the study file. In order to remove the Dual Domain mesh or previous thickness properties and clean up the study file, follow the instructions below.

1. Click Remove from the Properties panel. The Properties panel can be found in the Geometry tab as well as in the Mesh tab and Boundary Conditions tab. You will either see a prompt stating that there was no unused properties to be removed, or a prompt stating the number of unused properties that were removed.
2. Click OK.
3. Click then (Save > Save Study).
