Revit software, use the Autodesk Uninstall Tool.

During the process, the following files in UserDataCache are deleted, unless they have been previously modified:
- MaterialUIConfig.xml
- OmniClassTaxonomy.txt
- Revit.ini
- shxfontmap.txt
- UniformatClassifications.txt
Note: Files in the user profile folder are not affected by the uninstall process.
Alternative Uninstall Instructions
In some cases, the standard uninstall process may leave behind some residual files and settings, which may interfere with a successful reinstallation of the software. When you need to completely remove the
Revit software from a computer, including all residual files and settings, use the following procedure.
In these instructions, substitute the current Windows login name for %username%, and the appropriate language code for ENU or English, where needed. Also, the paths listed reflect
Autodesk Revit 2017. If you are using another edition of the
Revit software, substitute the appropriate values, as follows:

Note: Some of the folders listed below may not apply to your
Revit installation.
To uninstall the
Revit software using the alternative method
- Back up any custom
Revit family files or template files.
- Log on as a Local System Administrator, and
disable anti-virus software.
- Using the
Uninstall tool, remove
Autodesk Revit 2017 and its sub-components.
- Use Microsoft® Windows Explorer to locate and delete the following
Revit
2017 files and folders (and subfolders, where they exist):
