If you are responsible for installing or upgrading the Revit or Revit LT software to a new release, learn about recent changes to the installation process.
Installation
- Revit software now supports the Microsoft® Windows® 10 operating system.
- The 32-bit version of Revit LT is no longer available.
- The Autodesk desktop app replaces the Autodesk Application Manager for installing products, receiving product notifications, downloading updates, and accessing learning tools. It is installed by default with all Windows-based Autodesk products and suites. When creating a deployment, you can configure the Autodesk desktop app for target computers.
- Revit installations now include the following features. (These features are not included with Revit LT installations.)
Licensing
- When performing a stand-alone installation, you no longer provide the serial number and product code during the installation process. Instead, you enter this information when you first launch the software. For more information about recent licensing changes for Autodesk products, see
