Define the Material Properties

We will now assign the structural material properties to the two comb parts and one beam part.

1. Click the Material heading for Part 1 in the browser.
2. Hold down the Ctrl key and also click the Material heading for Part 2.
3. Right-click on one of the two selected headings and choose Edit Material.
   1. Click Edit Properties.
      1. Type 16960 in the Modulus of Elasticity field.
      2. Type 0.22 in the Poisson's Ratio field.
      3. Click OK to accept these properties.
   2. Click OK to close the Element Material Selection dialog box.
4. Double-click the Material heading for Part 4 in the browser.
   1. Click Edit Properties.
      1. Type 16960 in the Modulus of Elasticity field.
      2. Type 0.22 in the Poisson's Ratio field.
      3. Click OK to accept these properties.
   2. Click OK to close the Element Material Selection dialog box.
