About Feature Information

There are two ways to display and modify information about the features in your design: the stand-alone Quick Info palette and the Feature Info palette on the Dashboard. Use either palette to display and modify information for selected features. You can modify attribute values and connections for selected features. In addition, you can manage the containment relationship between features. For example, you can add a transformer to a vault even if the transformer is drawn outside of the vault. You can also view and edit the port assignment of a line feature on structures and in segments. For more information, see To Edit Port and Duct Assignments with Feature Info.

Note: The Quick Info and Feature Info are not displayed at the same time. Quick Info is useful if you are using the Dashboard to display another palette.

Click Home tabPalettes panelQuick Info to display the Quick Info palette.
