Map Results - Pedal

Now we are ready to map results to the structural model.

1. Switch to the Home tab and click (Home > Mapping > Map Results).
   Note: In some cases, the results may be mapped automatically when adjusting the Weld Surface Properties.
2. Rotate the model as necessary to examine the mapped results.
   

3. Switch to the Weld Surfaces view (Home > View Results > Weld Surfaces) to see how the weld surfaces were mapped to the structural model.
   

The contour plot on the structural model shows the strength reduction factors calculated using the Robbins method. This model was created using good processing conditions as evident by the strength reduction factors which are near to 1.00 (no reduction in strength).
