You can export a gem as an ArtCAM Assembly (.3da), Binary STL (.stl), ASCII STL (.stl), Wavefront Object (.obj), Autodesk Machining Triangles (.dmt), Autodesk DDZ (.ddz) or 3D PDF (.pdf) file.
To export a gem:
- In the
Project panel, right-click the gem
in the Project Tree that you want to export, and then select
Export
from the context menu. The
Export Mesh As dialog is displayed:
- Navigate to the folder in which you want to save the gem.
- Enter a File name.
- In the Save as type list, select the file-type in which you want to save the gem.
- Click Save to close the dialog and save the gem file.
Note: The availability of this feature is license dependent.
