You can create new support types using the Support Library panel, and then edit their parameters using the Support Parameter Editing panel.
To create a support type:
- Select
3D Printing > Supports to display the
Support Library panel.
The Support Library is divided into sections, and each section has a New File
button.
- Click the
New File button in the section to which you want to add the new support type. A support type called
New File is created.
Note: To rename the support type, right-click its icon and select Rename.
To edit the parameters of the existing support types:
- Select 3D Printing > Supports to display the Support Library panel.
- In the Support Library panel, select the support type that you want to edit. The Support Parameter Editing panel is displayed.
- Enter a description for the support type in the Description box.
- If you want to change the icon, click Change Icon. You can select a .png, .bmp, .jpg, or .gif file.
- Select an Editing Mode. There are two editing modes available: Basic and Advanced.
- Enter your parameters in the available boxes, then click
to return to the library.
