To Attach a Symbol to an Object (AutoCAD Mechanical)

1. In the drawing area, double-click the symbol to edit.
2. Select the Leader and Text tab.
3. Click Attach. The dialog box hides.
4. Select an object in the drawing to attach the symbol to. The dialog box is displayed again.
5. Click OK.
