To Create an Edge Symbol Using the Symbol Library (AutoCAD Mechanical)

1. Click the Annotate tab Symbol panel Edge Symbol drop-down

   AutoCAD Mechanical displays the edge symbols saved in the symbol library.

2. Click the symbol to insert.
3. Select an object to attach the edge symbol to.
4. In the drawing area, specify the start point for the leader.
5. Specify one or more points to define the vertices of the leader, and then press Enter.
