Use this dialog box to specify the part catalogs, styles, layers, and default parts to use when Autodesk InfraWorks drainage networks are brought into AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Note: Drainage networks in InfraWorks are pipelines with inlets and manholes instead of generic pipeline connectors and have a Utility Type of Drainage.
Civil 3D Pipe Network Catalogs

Catalog Folder

Specifies the folder that contains the AutoCAD Civil 3D pipe network parts catalogs to use. Click to browse for the folder. The default location is as follows:
- C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\C3D 2018\enu\Pipes Catalog\

Pipe Catalog

Specifies the AutoCAD Civil 3D pipe catalog to use.
Note: Pipes will use the closest matching pipe shape, material, and size from the specified pipe catalog.

Structure Catalog

Specifies the AutoCAD Civil 3D structure catalog to use.
Important: You must select either Generic Drainage Catalog – Imperial or Generic Drainage Catalog – Metric to use as the structure catalog. Select the catalog that uses the same units as the InfraWorks model. These are new catalogs that have been included in AutoCAD Civil 3D for use when you bring InfraWorks drainage networks into AutoCAD Civil 3D. These catalogs contain the same parts that are used in InfraWorks for inlets and manholes.
Pipes Tab

Default Part Family
- Specifies the default part family to use for pipes. This setting is used if a direct match cannot be found for the InfraWorks part.

Default Part Size
- Specifies the default part size to use for pipes. This setting is used if a direct match cannot be found for the InfraWorks part.

Style
- Specifies the pipe style to use. The pipe style specified in the CreateNetwork command settings is used as the default.

Layer
- Specifies the layer for pipes. The layer that is specified in the Drawing Settings for pipes is used as the default. Enter a layer name or click to open the Layer Selection dialog box.
Manholes Tab
