FeatureCAM supports four different styles of specifying rotation angles.

ANSI/EIA RS-274-D:

In this style, the value of the angle specifies the angular position measured from zero in the positive direction. The sign of the angle indicates the direction of rotation. For example:

In this style, the value of the angle specifies the angular position measured from zero and the sign indicates the direction of measurement. The sign of the angle also indicates the direction of rotation. For example:

In this style, the value of the angle specifies the angular distance measured from the current position and the sign indicates the direction of measurement. The sign of the angle also indicates the direction of rotation. For example:

Winding and unwinding

In this style, the value of the angle specifies the angular position measured from zero and the sign indicates the direction of measurement. The sign of the difference between the angle and the current position indicates the direction of rotation. For example:
