The Factory Layout options control the behavior and appearance of the factory commands. The options are included in the Navisworks Options Editor dialog box.
- The Grid Floor settings control the floor size and color, the grid spacing, and how major and minor grid lines display.
- The Grip Snap settings control the snap behavior and selection and preview color.
- The Set Landing Surface settings control the colors of the selected points.
- The Associated File setting, when selected, automatically loads any files associated with a factory layout when you open or append the layout file.
To set these options:
- Right-click in an open area of the graphics window and select Global Options from the pop-up context menu.
Note: You can also press function key F12 to open the Options Editor dialog box.
- Expand the Factory Options node in the left pane of the dialog box.
- Expand the Factory Layout node in the left pane of the dialog box and select Grid Floor, Grip Snap, Set Landing Surface, or Associated File.
- Make any setting changes as required. (Click the Defaults button at the bottom of the right pane to restore the original settings.)
- Click OK to save the changes and close the dialog box.
