Once two assets with defined connector points are mated, a
Connector Links node is added to the assembly browser. You can use this browser feature to manage the connector links.
- Right-click over the
Connector Links node in the assembly browser to display a context menu.
- Select
Manage to display the
Connector Links dialog. This dialog lists all the connector links for any mated assets on the factory floor.
- To locate a defined connector link in the graphics window, right-click over a
Connector Link in the dialog and select
Find in Window. The selected connector link is highlighted and its location in the graphics window is zoomed up.
- To delete a connector link, right-click over a
Connector Link in the dialog and select
Delete from the pop-up context menu. The connector link is deleted from the placed assets only, and not from the original asset in the
Factory Assets library.
Tip: A connector link can also be broken by placing your mouse over one of the mated assets and simultaneously pressing the
F7 function key. Then, press and hold the left mouse button as you drag the asset away from the other.
