In the Preferences window you can set preferences for many functional elements of Maya, organized by different categories.
You can also click the Animation Preferences icon
in the lower-right corner of the
Maya window. This opens the
Preferences window to the
Time Slider category, but you can then select any category you like.
Restoring Preference settings
To return to the last settings that you saved in the Preferences window, choose in it.
To return to the default factory settings (reset), choose
from the menubar (above the
Categories section).
Important: Restoring default settings resets the preferences in every category in the
Preferences window.
