An audio waveform automatically displays in the
Time Slider when you import an audio file.
Tip:
You can change the default color of the waveform by changing the
Sound color swatch in the
Color Settings (in the
Animation section).
To specify which audio file displays in the
Time Slider
- Right-click the
Time Slider, then select
Sound >
audio file from the pop-up menu that appears. (Where
audio file is the name of the audio file you want to display.)
The audio file waveform for the sound you select displays in the
Time Slider and plays during playback.
Note: Playback speed must be set to
Real-time or you are only able to hear sound while scrubbing, not during playback. To do this, right-click Maya's
Time Slider and choose Real-time from the Playback Speed options.
