Winstat interface

When setting the electrode export options, if the Winstat interface is enabled, Winstat Export Enabled is displayed on the Export Options page of the Electrode Wizard - Design dialog.

You can define the names of the objects in the Winstat database using the file named winstat_naming.con in the following folder:

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\PowerShapexxxxx\file\electrode

where xxxxx is the version number of PowerShape and C is the disk on which PowerShape is installed.

The syntax for naming objects is:

[object name]: [pattern]

where:

• object name is one of project_name, workpiece_name, edm_name, or logical_electrode_name.
• pattern is the string to use as the default name, with replacement strings enclosed in angle brackets.

The following are examples of the syntax used for naming objects:

project_name: Autodesk-<model_name>

workpiece_name: <project_name>-50-001

edm_name: X<x>_Y<y>_Z<z>_C<c>_<logical_electrode_name>

logical_electrode_name: <project_name>-60-<nnn>-<type>
