Rename or Delete Cloud Models with BIM 360 Team

Models uploaded to BIM 360 Team can be deleted or renamed using the Manage Cloud Models tool.

You can also delete or rename a model directly in BIM 360 Team.

Note: When you delete a model directly in BIM 360 Team, the model is no longer available in Revit Cloud Worksharing.

To delete a model with the Manage Cloud Models tool

  1. In Revit, click Collaborate tab Manage Models panel (Manage Cloud Models).
  2. Select a BIM 360 Team project.
  3. From that project, select a model from the list and click (Actions).
  4. Click Delete to confirm.

The deleted model is moved to the Trash.

  5. Tip: To refresh the view, click (Refresh).

When you delete a model, the model is moved to the Trash, and project team members will not be able to synchronize their changes to the model. The model stays in the Trash for 30 days. It can be recovered from the Trash within that timeframe, if required.
