Create, Edit, and Run Job Server Monitor Queries

Use queries to define which files you want the Job Server Monitor to affect.

Navigate to the Queries List

  1. In the bottom left of the Navigation panel, click Monitor.
  2. In the Navigation panel, under the Vault database, click Queries.

Create a Query

  1. With the list of queries displayed, go to the Job Server Monitor Start tab.
  2. In the Query group of the ribbon, click Add.

    The Edit Query dialog box opens.

  3. Enter a name and description for the query.
  4. In the Search For Files tab, enter the files and file path you want the query to affect.
  5. Specify a lifecycle state; for example, you can apply the query only to released files.
  6. Enter a repetition cycle; for example, every 2 days, or every 1 week.
  7. In the Create Output File tab, specify attachment preferences.

Edit or Delete a Query

  1. Select a query from the list.
  2. In the Job Server Monitor, click the Start tab.
  3. In the Query group of the ribbon, click Edit or Delete.

Run All Queries

  1. In the Job Server Monitor, click the Start tab.
  2. In the Query group of the ribbon, click Query Now.
