Click
Application menu > Drawing Utilities > DWG Compare.
Note: You can launch the DWG Compare utility from the Application menu even when you do not have any open drawings.
In the DWG Compare dialog box, click Browse to select the first drawing file.
Note: If you are launching the utility from your current drawing, then the first drawing name is automatically filled. If your current drawing is a compare result drawing, then both drawing names are automatically filled.
Click the color to change the default color settings for the objects that exist only in the first drawing.
Browse to and select the second drawing file that you want to compare with the first drawing.
Click the color to change the default color settings for the objects that exist only in the second drawing.
Click Compare.
A new drawing opens which contains the comparison results. The name of the comparison drawing is a combination of the file names of the compared drawings, Compare_filename1 vs
filename2.dwg. A contextual ribbon tab opens that provides you with various review options.
