For line dispensing in Underfill Encapsulation, specify the dispensing location at every node along the line.
This task assumes you have imported a model, generated a mesh, and selected Underfill encapsulation as the molding process.
- Make visible the layer that contains the part nodes, so you can see the nodes along the dispensing path.
- Click
(), and click on every node along the dispensing path.
- When you have placed an injection location on each node along the dispensing path, click
Injection Locations again to deactivate the tool.
Note: To perform dynamic dispensing (3D only), where the encapsulant is dispensed over several passes,
set dispensing controllers.
