The following script provides an example of how to use a new material for the study that is either in a user database or the system database, saved in the default file location.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <!-- Change material to "Styron 678" from "Americas Styrenics" --> <!-- The database is located within the system/user database repository --> <StudyMod title="Autodesk StudyMod" ver="1.00"> <UnitSystem>Metric</UnitSystem> <Material ID="1382" Shot="1"/> </StudyMod>
This script assumes that you have saved the database in the standard location, Documnets\My AMI 2019 Projects\udb. If your material database is located elsewhere, you must specify the location.
Using metric units, material 1382 will be used for shot 1 of the process. Material 1382 corresponds to Styron 678 from Americas Styrenics in the system database.
If the study is not for an overmolding process, Shot="1" is not required, as this is the default setting for a single shot process.
