To create a mold surface mesh for regions and curves

  1. Select the Mold external surface layers and make them active.
  2. Click (Mesh tab > Mesh panel > Mold Mesh) to open the Generate Mold Mesh dialog.
  3. Check the external and internal mold surface edge lengths on the Surface tab, and confirm that the External mold surface edge length is greater than the internal length. Make edits if necessary.
  4. Click Mesh Now. A dialog will appear, advising you to check the surface mesh once it has been created.
  5. Click OK to close the message dialog and start the meshing process.
  6. When the meshing is complete, check the mesh log for any meshing errors and fix them using the mesh repair tools.
