To stitch free edges in the mesh

Stitch Free Edges merges nodes that are part of a free edge, so that all edges are connected properly.

1. Click (Mesh tab > Mesh Edit panel > Stitch Free Edges).
2. Select the nodes that are part of the free edges you want to stitch together.
   Tip: Select all the nodes in the model; only nodes that are part of a free edge are merged.
3. Type in a tolerance, or accept the default. The tolerance is the maximum distance between the nodes to be merged. The default tolerance is based on the global edge length, internally.
4. Click Apply. The selected nodes that define free edges are connected automatically.
