This dialog lists all the valve gate controllers that are available to you, and provides you with the means to view or edit them.
To access this dialog, select the hot gate element to which you want to assign a valve gate controller, click
() and click
OK.
Click on a
Controller Name to select it, then click on
Select to assign it to the selected elements.

| Controller Name | This is the name that is assigned to the controller to differentiate it from other valve gate controllers. |
| Trigger | Valve gates can be opened and closed based on different triggers:
This column identifies which option was selected for each controller. |
| Open/Close Type |
Valve gates can be programmed to open/close instantaneously upon receiving the trigger, or in a controlled manner according to a user-defined table of events. This column identifies which of these two options:

| View/Edit Controller Details | The View/Edit button takes you to the Edit Valve Gate Controller dialog, where you can view all the details of the valve gate controller programming, and change them where appropriate. If you change them, we recommend you save the valve gate controller under a new name, to avoid confusion later when reviewing the results. |
| Select | This button assigns the chosen controller to the selected elements and also makes it available for selection from the Valve gate controller drop-down list in the Hot gate dialog, if it wasn't previously listed. |
| Cancel | Clicking this button closes the dialog without saving any changes. |
