To move nodes

Move Nodes relocates an existing node or nodes to a new position on the model.

Note: If a node is on an edge, it can only be moved along that edge. If a node is on a corner, it cannot be moved.
  1. Click Move Nodes (Mesh tab > Mesh Edit panel > Move Nodes).
  2. Enter the number(s) of the node(s) to be moved, or select the node(s) on the model.
  3. Select whether you want to use an Absolute or Relative location.

The data entry box changes name depending upon your selection.

  4. Specify the new location by entering a set of coordinates in the text box.
    Location
Applies to Absolute positioning that is relative to the origin.
    Offset
Applies to Relative positioning that is relative to the current position of the node(s).
Tip: You can also move a node by holding down the mouse button and dragging the node to the required location.
  5. Click Apply.
The selected node(s) move to the specified position.
